Mr. Wise's info

My name is Glen Wise, and I teach English to new arrivals at Bryan High School. I am from Edinburg, Texas which is near the Mexican town of Reynosa, Mexico.  I have lived in Bryan, Texas for 28 years. My passion is teaching students from other countries.  My hobbies are sailing, exercising, and visiting Spanish speaking countries. I also volunteer through my church to counsel men who are in the local jails. I talk to them about how they can make their lives better with Jesus. I have one son, 3 daughters, 3 grandsons, and one granddaughter. I plan to volunteer to teach English to the students in Mexico when I retire. I will continue to practice speaking Spanish so that I can improve my communication skills with my students and their parents.
